Lower Advertising Costs While Making A Big Impression

Nov 24

Many consumers have become immune to forms of advertising that utilize gimmicks, and even subliminal messages. Customers have developed a built in scanning mechanism meant to ignore fluff and get right to the meat and potatoes. This doesn’t mean that memorable slogans and catchy jingles don’t still work, it just means that in this day and age, potential customers just want to know what you offer. The most effective full page ads in newspapers and magazines aren’t necessarily 1,000 word advertorials listing the benefits of a product. Instead, a simple photograph that lists the advantages of a product along with a product description, and more importantly, the price, works way better than inundating clients with verbiage.

This why billboards and banners are the most effective forms of advertising available. Major corporations and small start-ups both benefit from the simple, eye-catching appeal of outdoor banner and billboard advertisements. Drivers and pedestrians will generally pause and pay attention to outdoor advertisements for a few moments almost inadvertently. And because the information on banners is usually limited to the name of the company, their product and a way to get in contact with them, the message tends to stick.

On top of getting consumers to pay attention to your brand, banner advertisement is quite inexpensive. For the same price you would spend on a newspaper ad that will probably be ignored, you can purchase a banner or two and get guaranteed exposure. You can put up billboards and banners in areas with high concentrations of shoppers, or along the road that leads to your place of establishment. Seasonal banners can be used again and again, while standard banners can be put up at all other times. When compared to expensive radio advertisements and full page ads in periodicals, banners and billboards are a much better buy.
