The Fake Fashion Phenomenon

Jul 05

Has anyone else notices that designer simulations have been taking the fashion world by storm lately? You can’t seem to go anywhere without finding someone offering exact replica IWC watches, or wannabe-Gucci scarves. For a long time this made me angry like nothing else, as I felt that it was a bit of a travesty, and an insult to the good name of over-prices labels. That was until I found myself looking a little more closely at these knock offs, and found one thing to be true: the are amazing.

You see, I am one of those girls who will save up her extra cash at the end of a bill period for months to get one of the lower end Louis Vuitton handbags. This is frustrating in the extreme, because by the time I have saved the money to get the item I have really, really wanted it is usually out of stock, and certainly out of season. And lets face it, when you buy designer you have to keep up on the latest trends. But I kept hearing about these simulated label accessories, and I finally gave in to my curiosity.

After finding a recommended site from a friend that promised replica Breitling watches I fell in love. They had more than that, they have Louis Vuitton sweaters, Gucci boots, Calvin Klein perfume, replica Rolex watches…everything you could possibly want, and all of it created to look like the real thing. I spent less that day on six items than I would on one purse, and that is why replications have become so popular. They are worth it.
