I am a total fashion freak. I love practically anything with a designer label, and I don’t think there is anything like the feeling of walking down the street, looking fabulous in the latest season’s release. Just the other night I bought a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes that I know I will only wear once a year, but that I love more than words can express.

In the end I suppose that is why I am obsessed with designer footwear. It isn’t about the shoes themselves, it is what they represent. When you wear a pair of Chanel shoes you are indulging in a kind of decadence that is so unnecessary, but lovely. You feel important, pampered, cheerful, and carefree.

Even sporting a pair of Coach shoes I feel like a princess, because they give me confidence. I know I am wearing something that is unique, and not many people will own. I also know that I look fantastic, because no one can look bad in a designer label, the apparel just doesn’t allow it.

You can call me a snob if you like, and I wouldn’t blame you. But I will keep buying up those designer shoes, and from Gucci to Nike, I know my feet will thank me.
